Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It means the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
Platforms
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.
FIX API is there for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly coming. That would be a good addition once it is live.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The speed is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
Now, the part that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform your assessment.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
The Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.
